Its Krrunch Time, Get playful!!

Trick or treat!! Is halloween around the corner ? We don’t really celebrate except clubs / bars have halloween parties and people go in as skeletons and zombies, stuff like that. Oh wait, why am I talking about halloween.. ?? Oh its about trick or treat.

Okay before I go further, let me explain what this post is bout. Nuffnang is hosting an Asia-Pacific blog awards. Now blogging has really moved to a new stage, like it or not, its part of everyone’s lifestyle. Like milk and cookies.. And, because I’m still a small potato, I have to win my way to go there 😛 Hahaha If u’re a blogger and have not yet submitted, quick! 3rd oct is the last day to rub shoulders and mingle with the Asia-Pacific’s top bloggers..

And starring this post, will be Pringles!! I’m at the moment chilling and bumming around, so sometimes it gets a tad boring at home. like, how many more cakes and cookies can I bake right?
So, to create some Krrunch Time at HOME, I’ve incorporated Pringles in my baking! !

I know, Raya is just over and everyone is probably sick and tired of cookies already. But let me tell you, this will tickle your taste buds. Have u seen the cornflakes + honey cookies ? I replaced the cornflakes with pringles lol.. check it out.

Ingredients to make Honey Pringles Krrunch

Ingredients:- (A)
150g Pringles (crushed)
100g roasted almond slices
100g raisins

(B)
110g butter
90g fine sugar
5-6 tbsp honey

Step 1: Preheat oven to 175 C. Put butter, sugar and honey over saucepan and cook till bubbly boiling..

Step 2: Take out some pringles from the can. Original flavour is okay, but Maybe .. MAYBE the bbq flavour might work out too. hehe

Step 3: Crush crush crush!! Add in the rest of ingredients like roasted almond slices and some raisins. It can be subsitute with real cornflakes..

Step 4: Remember to stir the pan so the honey or sugar won’t caramelized (although, really it wouldn’t cause there’s alot of butter in there) Turn off heat when it’s boiling and all butter has melted.

Step 5: Pour into the pringles, almond and raisins mixture. Stir well to make sure all the ingredients are coated with the melted honey butter mixture.. This will help all ingredients to stick together after baking.

Step 6: Scoop them into small paper cups. Ah, red paper cups!! This may take a while as it gets a tad sticky after a while.. Then, put them to bake in the oven at 175 C for 7-8 minutes or till golden brown!! YES the Pringles are actually being baked!!

Step 7: Once it’s out from the oven, it may seem very wet. Let it cool down and the ‘wetness’ will dry up.. Then try it.. or keep in airtight container

Or ask your friends to try (which I’m going to do tonite, but since I wouldn’t have enough time to post up the pics of my friends’ “HUH” faces before the closing of this competition, I will compensate with…. )
