Have I blogged about this before? Well if I haven’t, here it goes. If I have.. here it is again 😉
Last June I was in Singapore for a short trip. (And prior to hitting SG this weekend, I want to rave about this place; 2am:dessert bar. The bar, as the name suggests is open till 2am and is a dessert bar! They have a selection of wines too to pair with the dessert. 2am:dessert bar is opened by Janice who is also a fellow Le Cordon Bleu grad. It’s been like my dream to open a dessert & wine place, just to chill 😛
Plated desserts are not easy at all. Each components on the plate are not just merely for decorations. Everything is there for a reason. And for me, I would pay a little more even for a smaller portion but a properly presented plate of desserts than just settle for a slice of cake. Just like Lenotre in Bangkok. I sure would be a fat pig if both of those shops open here .. T__T
I keep it as an indulgence once in a blue moon, whenever I go either Bangkok or Singapore.

Deep fried calamari rings with tartare sauce (under the SIDE menu)
amedei chilli chocolate
dark chocolate bricks, fresh honeycomb, toast ice?cream,
white chocolate peanut butter, chocolate soil
