Well I had a plan of making the Riveria cake from Pierre Herme for a friend’s birthday tomorrow. I even made the lemon cream, it tastes godly GOOD !! Then to proceed to the flourless chocolate cake, something went wrong somewhere, the cake didn’t turn out. It was pretty late and I had a good friend over. She’s here to help me take some photos of the cakes but it looks like that there needs to be a Plan B, since Riveria is not working out!! and I didn’t want to take too much of her time.
So, I had a cake from my baking class today… and, I thought of using it lah.. Not much time to make a cake from scratch again.. And started decorating it with some fondant flowers and a girl figurine.. My friend did a good job on taking some of the photos. I loved it!!
The colours look so vibrant right!? Plus, its and impromptu job.. 😀
And I AM going to make the Riveria.. !! and i will get it right this time..
Maybe also I’ll make a Tiramisu.. haven’t eaten a good one since my birthday last year!!!!!
