I just realized, this was made somewhat 2 months ago. ^_^ Just 2 months but it felt like half a year ago. Hahaha Anyways, I used back the same pizza dough from the Bacon and Pesto Pizza. The dough yields a somewhat bread-like texture base. If you roll it thin, it’s not an issue. But I’m looking for a base which is like Domino’s Crispy thin pizza. Anyone?
So with the remaining dough, I made one with tuna. Very simple.
Tuna Pizza
1/3 of pizza dough from this recipe
olive oil
thousand island sauce
tartar sauce
1 can tuna in water / oil
1 big onion
3-4 rings of pineapple (I had some leftovers of pineapple in the fridge)
1 cup Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 220 C. Place 1 tray in the oven to heat for 5-10 minutes.
Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to 22cm rounds. Brush trays with oil and top with the dough.
Spread base with thousand island sauce and scatter half the amount of cheese. Drain tuna from can, add to pizza. Followed by sliced onion and pineapples. You can also add crab stick too for some colour. Hehe. Scatter the remaining cheese on top and season with some salt and pepper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or till sides are browned. Remove from oven and slide onto serving plate. Squeeze tartar sauce on top of the pizza! Eat while it’s hot!
And for the dessert, with the remaining dough, I made a dessert pizza with it!! Not the Domino’s kaya and banana pizza but something more wicked!
Nutella, Chocolate, dulce de leche, banana and strawberries Pizza
it sounds crazy. I know it doesn’t look so, but it is … crazy!!
Well. Pizza is ever so versatile because there’s no measurement involved, except for the dough.
This dessert pizza basically is a thrown-in thing. Left over nutella, Lindt chocolate bars, dulce de leche, bananas and a lonely strawberry in the fridge
Yeah..

That tuna pizza looks amazing! Don’t forget if at all possible to make sure the tuna comes from a company that uses sustainable methods to catch the fish, it’s so important to our ocean’s ecosystem. Thanks!!!
