The Executive Sous Chef, Chef Kamaruddin Adnin and his team invite you to dine like a true Italian with authentic specialties cooked fresh from the wood-fired oven.
A wood-fired oven is typically heated only once during the firing stage, unlike modern household gas or electric oven that provides an almost constant temperature. After the coals are removed, the oven’s temperature gradually decreases over a period of hours or even days. The retained heat in the oven may be used to bake multiple batches of food. Alternatively, foods requiring different temperatures can be cooked in series as the temperature of the oven falls.
Chef Kamaruddin and his team believe in serving true Italian cuisine that leaves one comforted with its authentic rendition of the best of Italy. So, be pampered by wood-fired Italian delicacies made with the freshest ingredients that are sure to stimulate your appetite.
You can create your own dish by firstly choosing your favourite meat (duck confit, salmon, lamb rack, beef cheek and lamb rib). Then, select three side dishes of your choice to go with it (sautéed mushrooms, roast potatoes, brocolini, asparagus, grilled vegetables, steak fries and mashed potatoes). Lastly, pick a sauce to complete your dish (rosemary lamb jus, chicken jus, saffron butter sauce, mustard jus and lobster bisque sauce). All of these cooked fresh from the wood-fired oven!
Or you can choose from our specially crafted menu which boasts of delightful authentic must-try Italian dishes. For starter, we had the Cheesy Portabello Mushroom stuffed with Herbs and Goat Cheese which was succulent and tantalizing. The goats cheese paired well with the earthy juiciness from the wood oven roasted mushrooms (RM32)
Look forward to Baked Tagliatelle with Capsicums, Red Onions, Mushrooms in Alfredo and Herbs Sauce for the carb lovers with vegetarian options. (RM48)
Other mains include Italian Sandwich with Lamb Sausage or Grilled Chicken, Pineapples, Red Onions, Roma Tomatoes, Romaine Lettuce and Mozzarella Cheese (RM68), King Prawns with Mustard Mashed Potatoes Argula Salad in Lobster Bisque Sauce (RM80) and Salt Crusted Whole Sea Bass with Steamed Fennel and Potatoes in Lemon Butter Sauce (RM120)
The Salt Crusted Whole Sea Bass with Steamed Fennel and Potatoes in Lemon Butter Sauce was very generous in serving and can comfortably feed 2-3 person. The fish was fresh and flaky and sweet. As it was minimally seasoned, you get the purest taste of the sea bass itself.
If you’re a meat lover, the Lamb Rib served with steak fries, Coca-cola BBQ Sauce and Brocolini (RM118) is not to be missed. These tender ribs had a faint aroma and sweetness from the coca-cola.
Last but not least, ending the night with the divine Chocolate Lava Cake with Walnut Ice Cream (RM28) to complete the exquisite experience on an almost magical note.
