Rich Lashes Extension by Pink Passion

Well, if you have seen me in the past week, you would have noticed my eyelashes are different. Haha but if you haven’t, then well, maybe you can see thru photos. Today’s post will be about eyelash extensions ?

I’ve done eyelash extension before about 2-3 years ago and it was a super long process, it took almost 2 hours because the beautician stuck 1 lash at a time. But, it didn’t last very long, probably about 3 weeks and it started to fall. So then after I didn’t continue doing because, if it can’t last for even a month, then why go through the fuss. T__T

So then after a few years, I decided to go try again. Coincidentally, Angeline was asking if anyone has done extension before, and ding dong ding dong, I was introduced to Pink Passion and we decided to do the Rich Lash Extension. (Law of attraction working ? lol maybe)

Pink Passion has been operating for 6-7 years and they specialize in Silk and Rich Lash extension. They have coloured lash extension as well too (OMG) Silk lash are lighter and looks more natural while Rich lash are more … well, rich and the after result looks more volumed. Rich lash last longer as well (about 2 months)

So what are Eyelash Extensions ? They are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural lash. They are applied to each individual eyelash with a specially designed bonding agent for a natural, beautiful and luscious look.

Naturally, I have a healthy amount of eyelash, but they are straight and short ๐Ÿ™ So anyho, I opted for the Rich Lash Extension.

There are 3 different lengths, and you can see, it’s actually like a bunch of lashes, and not just 1. Hence it looks more volumed and richer. These lashes are from Korea and they are quite good in quality.

Well you can see the difference now. Haha I don’t have to say much ?

More before and after photos..

No need to apply falsies anymore. Well, not that I put them on everyday, I only do when there are dinners / events. On normal days I usually don’t put on make up, so now with the lash extension, I don’t need to apply mascara as well because it looks full and curled up already! Save time and effort ๐Ÿ˜›

There’s a maskign tape to protect the bottom lashes. It’s to prevent the top and bottom lashes to stick together when applying the glue. For some, the glue may sting a little, but I didn’t feel much compared to the one I did many years ago..

In the first 3 days, it may be a bit uncomfortable because you will feel some weight and something poking your lids, but actually it’s normal. After that, it’s like normal.

I’ve been wearing for almost 2 weeks and so far, nothing has fallen out, ok maybe 1-2 lash cause its normal. but if in 7 days you feel that it’s really uncomfortable or it fell out, you can always go back to Pink Passion to get it fixed or touched up FOC.

There are questions about whether your natural lash will fall or not.. Actually normally, just like hair, lashes will fall out too, but it will still grow back. Unless the salon uses a very bad or cheap quality glue, or has very bad skills, you should still have your lashes even after removing the extension ones.

So how to take care of the lashes ?

  • Avoid rubbing your eyes excessively to create undue stress on your natural eyelashes and your new eyelash extensions.
  • Avoid excessively hot baths, showers or steam rooms. High heat will change the adhesiveโ€™s optimal chemical properties and lead to faster break down of the glue.
  • Do not use a eyelash curler. One, you wonโ€™t need to, because your lashes will have a fabulous perfect curl. Two, it creates undue stress on the lashes and the bonds.
  • Do not pull or pluck at your eyelashes. This may cause your natural eyelashes to fall out prematurely before its full growing cycle has matured.

If you’d like to get your lashes done, do give Pink Passion Salon a call.

They are offering a special price for my readers, RM 88 instead of the normal RM 228

Looks great! No problems at all when you wash your face and shower? Am so tempted to try but I’m not sure if the glue would irritate my eyes coz I wear contacts…=)

    • Swee San says:

Soo yin, I still wash my face like normal but I don’t go over the eye. If water, my hands will move downwards (from forehead to chin), and not upwards.
You can check with them first because I don’t wear contacts at all. So I’m not so sure about that. ๐Ÿ˜›
